Mr. Franck EW Adjagba

Mr. Franck EW Adjagba is currently the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Benin, West Africa, to the People’s Republic of China. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Adjagba served as Chief Operating Officer at the African Guarantee Fund (AGF), a pan-African institution dedicated to promoting access to finance for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Africa. His role was to oversee operations and develop strategies to facilitate financing for SMEs across the continent.

As Ambassador to China, Mr. Adjagba is tasked with boosting bilateral relations between Benin and China, with a focus on economic cooperation, foreign direct investment, and cultural exchanges. His extensive experience in the financial sector and his commitment to SME development will be key assets in attracting Chinese investment to Benin and promoting business opportunities between the two nations. This appointment is part of President Patrice Talon’s desire to strengthen Benin’s diplomatic presence on the international scene and to diversify its strategic partnerships to support the country’s economic development.
