Dear Esteemed ADFIAP Members,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the ADFIAP–AADFI Joint International CEO Forum 2025, taking place from October 22 to 24, 2025, at the Wynn Hotel, Macao, under the theme “Resilient Future: Harnessing Sustainable Finance for Development in Asia-Pacific and Africa.”

Jointly organized by ADFIAP and AADFI, this year’s forum marks a milestone in interregional collaboration, bringing together two regions that are navigating compounding environmental, social, and economic pressures, yet remain united by a shared ambition to build a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient future. This ambition requires a deeper commitment to sustainable finance and stronger collaboration among development financing institutions (DFIs) and key stakeholders in shaping enabling policies, forging partnerships, cultivating ecosystems, and knowledge sharing that can propel green and sustainable development.

The forum comes at an opportune time to advance this goal by offering a dynamic platform for high-level dialogue and practical exchanges across a wide range of interconnected topics centered on sustainable finance. Most notably, it will spotlight the Asia–Africa synergy in development finance, providing a rare and invaluable space for cross-continental knowledge sharing and networking.
